Hi Guys, This is my first post.
I am re building a 96/97 4.6 2v engine and the intake seems to be a bit of a mystery as to what it is from! I have even given the part number to ford dealers and still can't find the info! if anyone can shed some light on it that would be great, it looks the same style 'ish' as the svo manifold. the part number is RF-F8AE-9425-AB.

Looks truckish to me.

The RF at the beginning of the part number probably means something like a replacement part, possibly for one of the many recall/replacement programs for plastic intakes.

I remember the Crown Vic had a big problem with plastic intakes cracking for years and years.

yes i thought it might be from a truck too looking at the mustang intakes. Ill give it a try before buying a new one. am grafting the engine into a mk II range rover.
